Christ-centered
Our parents tell us how much they appreciate our nurturing learning environment –– where faith is thoughtfully woven into daily activities, relationships and instruction.
We teach children about God’s love through Bible stories, prayer, worship and Christ-like modeling from teachers who emphasize kindness, compassion, forgiveness and respect. Academic learning is balanced with spiritual growth, helping children see themselves and others as uniquely created and valued by God.
Through purposeful play, service opportunities, and positive guidance, students develop strong character, gratitude and a foundation of faith alongside the skills needed for kindergarten readiness.
Nature-based Learning
Nature is at the heart of our curriculum. Students spend a significant portion of each day outdoors in child-led exploration and discovery in a natural environment.
What does this look like?
- Fruit trees –– picking, eating and learning about the fruits that grow on our trees. Our trees were chosen and planted to give our students the experience of eating food they help grow.
- Garden –– being curious and learning about the plants and vegetables we have here. Because young children learn best through hands-on, real-life experiences, our program is designed to give children time every day in our garden.
- Grounding –– having fun while being barefoot, digging and playing in the dirt, playing with water, and doing other tactile activities. An expanding body of research has been looking at the benefits of direct connection to the ground and nature on our physical and mental health.
- Outdoor play –– playing outside whenever possible to enjoy fresh air, sunshine and nature. We have seen the benefits to our students of enjoying time in the world God created for us.
Our approach focuses on fostering a deep connection with the environment while supporting physical, social, and cognitive development through hands-on experiences with the natural world.

Kindergarten Ready
Through purposeful play and structured learning our children develop the academic, social, emotional and physical skills for a smooth transition to elementary school. Our preschool graduates have built strong foundations in:
- early literacy,
- math skills,
- confidence in following directions,
- practice with routines,
- skills for problem-solving,
- communicating and working with peers,
- the ability to work on their own, and
- self-regulation.
Our teachers create an organized and engaging classroom that encourages curiosity, confidence, and positive interactions with adults and peers.
Some of our students transition directly into first grade based on the recommendation of the school they are entering.
Play with Purpose
Play is how young children learn best. We believe in harnessing play as an intentional and meaningful way for children to learn and grow. We create the opportunities, provide the tools and encourage our students in activities such as:
- dramatic play,
- art,
- building and
- outdoor exploration.
Through play our children develop important social, emotional, cognitive, physical and language skills while engaging in joyful, hands-on experiences. By balancing child-led exploration with purposeful teaching, we lay the foundations of learning –– curiosity, confidence, problem-solving, and a lifelong love of learning.

We believe strongly that kiddos benefit when parents and preschool teachers work together as a team. We want to hear what is going well and what you are struggling with at home. And we promise to share your child’s milestones and challenges with you.
